1. Who we are
This website, skyplay.media, is operated by SkyPlay Media Pvt. Ltd. (“SkyPlay Media”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at any time at contact@skyplay.media.
2. What we collect
We only collect information you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical data needed to run and protect the website.
- Enquiry, campaign brief and partnership forms — your name, email address and, if you provide them, company, role, phone number, website, campaign or partnership details, and your message.
- Newsletter — your email address and the date you subscribed.
- Technical data — IP address, browser user-agent, the page you submitted from, the referring website and campaign (UTM) parameters, recorded alongside form submissions for security, spam prevention and to understand which channels bring enquiries.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, campaign brief or partnership request, including sending you an automatic confirmation email.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To protect the website and our services from spam, abuse and fraud.
- To keep records of our business communications.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Legal bases (UK/EU visitors)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (for the newsletter and for processing the details you submit in a form); steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (when you ask us about our services); and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our website and business communications.
5. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our administrative area uses a strictly necessary session cookie for signed-in staff only. Your browser may store small preferences (such as campaign attribution for your current visit) in session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
6. Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and email (for example, our hosting and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms, or where required by law. If we work with you on a campaign or partnership, we may share necessary business contact details with the platforms involved, with your knowledge.
7. International transfers
Our team and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a business relationship, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents may request to know and delete personal information, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, email contact@skyplay.media. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and spam protection to safeguard your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you where required by law in the unlikely event of a breach.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
